Quintet led by versatile British guitarist and composer Chris Allard. Also featuring Brandon Allen (tenor sax), Ross Stanley (piano), Oli Hayhurst (bass) and Nick Smalley (drums). First album “Open Spaces” released in 2009. Allard’s current band is another quintet, Melodic Collective featuring Allard and Hayhurst plus Robbie Robson (trumpet), John Turville (piano) and Will Glaser (drums). Album “Melodic Collective” released on Perdido Music in July 2023.
