Bassist and composer, a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff and of the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has performed with many of the leading names on the UK jazz scene.
Hyson also writes for the piano and in February 2013 released “Little Moon Man” a digital EP of six solo piano pieces composed by Hyson and played by the critically acclaimed pianist Kit Downes.
