Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra is a pool of around twenty musicians from a variety of musical and artistic backgrounds. Although named for the city of its foundation it is an international organisation that regularly collaborates with artists from different countries and also holds an annual festival of improvised music in Glasgow. It has released thirteen albums to date (March 2023).
