Danish born bassist and composer who spent several years living and working in London and who remains an important presence on the UK jazz scene despite living once more in Denmark. Leader of the highly succesful trio Phronesis he also leads a quintet of British musicians featuring Mark Lockheart (sax), Laura Jurd (trumpet), Will Barry (piano) and Corrie Dick (drums). The debut album by this line up, “Fellow creatures”, was released on Edition records in July 2015.
