Trio led by bassist and composer Matt Ridley and featuring pianist John Turville and drummer George Hart (the latter sometimes replaced by Nick Smalley). The trio’s excellent debut album “Thymos” (Whirlwind Recordings, 2013) features guest appearances by saxophonist Jason Yarde and others. Yarde appears as a special guest with the trio throughout their 2013 Autumn tour of the UK.
