New York based double bassist and composer. Has worked with Tim Berne, Dave Douglas, Jim Black and many other leading figures on the New York “Downtown Scene” and also with British saxophonist Julian Arguelles. 2010 saw the release of his first solo album in 12 years “The Rub And Spare Change” recorded with an all star band and marking his debut for the ECM label.
In 2012 he released his second ECM album “Small Places” using the same personnel of Tim Berne (alto sax), Craig Taborn (piano) and Gerald Cleaver (drums).
