Young trumpeter, composer and arranger originally from Wakefield but now based in London. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music he is a former winner of the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize and the Peter Whittingham Award presented by the Musicians Benevolent Fund. His debut album “Between Shadows” (Edition Records, 2013) is a superbly realised big band recording that has been the subject of considerable critical acclaim.
