Eight-time Grammy winner Billy Childs has “sidestepped categorization as an intrepid hard bopper” (The New Yorker), collaborating with jazz luminaries like J.J. Johnson, Joe Henderson, Wynton Marsalis, and Dave Holland, as well eminent classical and contemporary artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Sting, and the Kronos Quartet. Admired for his versatility, technical mastery, and deep emotional expression, the renowned pianist and composer makes his Miller debut with his all-star quartet.
