This project explores the vast songbook of Duncan Lamont, often described as ‘the new Cole Porter’ and who’s songs have been recorded by Natalie Cole, George Shearing, Mark Murphy, Norma Winstone and Cleo Laine.

American jazz singer and pianist, Blossom Dearie,  in a NY Times interview cited Duncan Lamont as one of her favourite songwriters.
One of his most treasured possessions was a letter from Fred Astaire saying how much he liked Duncan’s song: “Fred Astaire”.
