In the summer of 2023 she spent some time at the world-famous Rudy Van Gelder studios in New Jersey (USA) working on a recording project with the New York music publisher 2nd Floor Music. The songs included previously unrecorded material by the Argentinian pianist/composer Sergio Mihanovich, plus new vocal versions of instrumental numbers by iconic Blue Note artists saxophonist Dexter Gordon and trumpeters Tommy Turrentine and Lonnie Hillyer, for which she wrote all the lyrics. Today she will be featuring a number of these songs alongside her personal favourites from the jazz and blues songbook supported by her brilliant band featuring Dominic Ashworth-guitar.
