Although the site has only been live for around two months now I have been so fortunate to have been sent some truly great music

Although the site has only been live for around two months now I have been so fortunate to have been sent some truly great music. What has also been really exciting for me is the number of young musicians recording and touring at the moment. If I can repeat for a moment what I said in my About statement (http://www.thejazzmann.com/about):

?The emergence of exciting young musicians still gives me a thrill. I think we have some fantastically talented players in this country, right across the generations, but sadly many of them are deeply undervalued.?

As I added many of these musicians to The Jazz Mann shop (http://www.thejazzmann.com/shop) I wanted to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to all of the people who have ordered music through the site so far; whether CDs through Amazon or iTunes downloads.

Not only do these orders help support the site but they also provide another outlet - albeit a very small one - for the musicians featured on The Jazz Mann. 

And if, through the site, I am able to turn one or two people onto a new musician or album I will be extremely happy.
