An appeal from Cheltenham Jazz Club, plus schedule of forthcoming events.

Cheltenham Jazz Club, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, is seeking volunteers to help ensure its continuation. An appeal from chairman Gil Emery is attached.
Gil Emery writes;
Dear Friends,
Since Simon Radford’s retirement, we got through Covid and gradually progressed, with the culmination of our successful 40th Anniversary gig.
This success is totally down to the hard work of the committee and the continuing support shown by our membership/mailing list and the wider audience.
Over the years, together, we have formed a great tradition of putting on live jazz in Cheltenham.
But can we continue?
Time is catching up with us, some of us are not as young as we used to be, and retirement from the committee is beckoning.
So, we are looking for volunteers to join the committee. This would involve attending meetings and help run the gigs. In addition, anyone with sound system experience would be most welcome.
Any comments/suggestions would be gratefully received.
Best wishes,
Gil Emery
