Dave Morecroft to run half marathon on behalf of the Musicians Benevolent Fund

Dave Morecroft and his fellow WorldService Project band members will be running in the Run to the Beat half marathon on behalf of the Musicians Benevolent Fund.

We have received the following email dated 18/09/2011 from Dave Morecroft;

Dear all

Hope you’re all well… This time next week I will have (hopefully!) finished running the Run to the Beat half-marathon with my fellow band mates from WorldService Project in aid of Musicians Benevolent Fund.
MBF support musicians and their families across the UK in times of illness and injury, as well as providing a platform for talented young performers to flourish. Its a great cause, and if you would support the MBF’s great work, and my hard work by donating through our Just Giving Page, it would be greatly appreciated!
Any amount, be it big or small, would be fantastic… Thank you so much in advance.

Good luck to Dave and the band in their run for such a worthy cause.
No doubt Dave will get a lot of stick for sharing his name with one of the UK’s greatest middle distance runners. There will be no hiding place if he doesn’t complete the course!
However having witnessed the energy he and his band put into their live performances I have every faith that they will all rise to the challenge with style.
