The first Oxford Jazz Festival will be held in venues throughout the city over the Easter weekend 9th-12th April inc.

The first Oxford Jazz Festival will be held in venues throughout the city over the Easter weekend 9th-12th April inc.

It is intended that the whole city will take part and events will be held in restaurants, churches, college theatres and even the Oxford Union debating chamber.

There will be performances from both amateur and professional musicians. Among the leading names due to appear are saxophonist Julian Siegel, guitarist John Etheridge and vocalists Gwyneth Herbert and Ian Shaw.
