Friday Jazz Nights coming up at Ladbroke Hall in February


Ladbroke Hall is a vibrant cultural venue in Notting Hill which hosts a range of events each month. The February programme includes four Friday Jazz shows, where visitors can enjoy jazz with dinner from the jazz menu at Pollini – Emanuele Pollini’s Italian restaurant within Ladbroke Hall. Featured performers include trombonist Kieran McLeod and his quintet [7 February], alto saxophonist Rachael Cohen and her quartet [14 February], drummer Arnaud Dolmen and his quartet performing works from his new album, Adjusting Quartet [21 February], and pianist Jorge Vera and his trio [28 February]. The February programme at Ladbroke Hall includes weekly Friday Jazz shows, where visitors can enjoy jazz with dinner from the jazz menu at Pollini – Emanuele Pollini’s Italian restaurant within Ladbroke Hall. Featured performers include trombonist Kieran McLeod and his quintet [7 February], alto saxophonist Rachael Cohen and her quartet [14 February], drummer Arnaud Dolmen and his quartet performing works from his new album, Adjusting Quartet [21 February], and pianist Jorge Vera and his trio [28 February].

 

Other live music events include a solo recital by Théotime Gillot, winner of the European Piano Competition, as part of Ladbroke Hall’s series with Steinway & Sons [12 February]. Singer-songwriter James Carrington returns to the stage for one night only, joined by special musical guests including David Cazalet [13 February].

 

Ladbroke Hall and MADBVL co-present a special Valentine’s Day event, Analog Love, featuring special guest DJs spinning a mix of classic disco, modern house and ballads on vinyl until 3am [14 February].

 

Ladbroke Hall’s Studio also hosts a weekly 55-minute exercise class Sanctum on a Saturday morning.

 

Ladbroke Hall is a vibrant cultural venue which hosts a range of events each month including Friday Jazz shows, classical music recitals, talks, workshops and masterclasses, screenings and art exhibitions. Built in 1903, the building started its life as a Clément-Talbot factory – a pioneering Edwardian car showroom – and is now the home of Emanuele Pollini’s Italian restaurant Pollini and the London flagship location for Carpenters Workshop Gallery in addition to the performance spaces.

 

Tickets start from £10 and the Pollini restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Friday, brunch and dinner on Saturday and brunch and roasts on Sunday, with a special jazz menu for the Friday Jazz nights.
