MultiTraction Orchestra - new remote collaboration to release first single, “Emerge Entangled”  on May 1st 2020.

"Emerge Entangled" features 27 musicians in 8 different countries, including UK-based improvisers Alex Roth, Tom Ward, Raph Clarkson, Joy Ellis, Kieran McLeod, Andrew Woodhead and Huw V Williams.

Alex Roth of MultiTraction Orchestra has forwarded the following information;


The debut single from newly-formed MultiTraction Orchestra - a platform for remote collaboration among a global community of experimental composers, producers and improvisers Will be released on May 1st 2020.


Constructed from improvisations recorded in response to a single stimulus track made available online via an open call, “emerge entangled” features 27 musicians in 8 different countries, including UK-based improvisers Tom Ward, Raph Clarkson, Joy Ellis, Kieran McLeod, Andrew Woodhead, Rosanna Ter-Berg, Huw V Williams, Jon Scott and many more.


The track will be released independently on Friday 1 May to coincide with Bandcamp’s show of support for artists.
