Saxophonist, composer and educator Phil Meadows has instigated a number of initiatives to help him, and his listeners, get through the current Covid-19 lockdown. Details attached.

Phil Meadows writes;

Music through the Lockdown!

Fill your time with Phil

I hope that you, your friends and your family are keeping safe!
With us all in lockdown, I’ve spent the past week making lots of content to help you make the most of your new found free time. Here’s a list of what you can check out and how you can support its creation:

The Underpass Returns:
The second edition of my online radio show has now been released and is available for your ears. It features 45 minutes of my favourite music, uniting genres from across the globe and bringing unsigned artists together in the same playlist as major label acts. Click here to listen.

Launching my… Online Jazz School:
With ensembles closing their doors, many people have been left without a musical outlet, so I have created my very own jazz school. Packed full of video lessons, hand-outs and quizzes; it’s a fully interactive online platform where you have weekly challenges to complete and upload and one hour per week of live Q&A with me.
All of this costs less than a single one-to-one lesson and as an extra bonus, those who sign-up in the next couple of days get a free download of my Lifecycles album. Click here to learn more. https://www.patreon.com/philmeadows

Social Media Channels:
I’m keeping my social media channels up to date with lots of extra tips, tricks and fun musical activities so do make sure you check them out and interact with me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

You can also support me…
As you’ll be aware, all of this content takes a lot of time and effort to prepare. I absolutely love making this stuff available for free as I believe that music should be open-access wherever possible, so that everybody gets a chance. That’s why I’ve set up a Patreon, where if you are feeling generous, you can support the creation of my content for as little as £3 p/m (a cup of coffee) or £5 p/m (a pint).
