Pianist and composer Dave Jones has established a new weekly Jazz night and Jazz Jam session on Wednesdays at the Brit Pub in Cwmafan, commencing June 15th 2022. Details attached.

New Jazz evening and Jazz Jam Session.

June 15

I’m starting a new weekly Jazz night and Jazz Jam session on Wednesdays at the lovely Brit Pub in Cwmafan, by the river - 8.30pm start, 10pm finish.

We’ve got great line-ups booked for 15, 22, and 29 June, and we hope to continue after that.

The house trio will be me plus Nick Kacal/Ashley John Long (bass) and Graham New (drums), and our special guest for 15 June is trumpeter Gethin Liddington.

The 2nd half of the session is open to other jazz players of any level who may want to ‘sit-in’ and play or sing a tune or two with the house band.

N.B. On 29 June we’ll be joined by special guest saxophonist Tommy Harris
