Rob Luft selected for BBC New Generation Artists scheme.

Guitarist Rob Luft, who released his debut album ‘Riser’ in 2017 as part of the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize, has been selected for the BBC New Generation Artists scheme. Following in the footsteps of previous Edition artists Laura Jurd and Misha Mullov-Abbado, this is an incredibly exciting opportunity for Rob, he he explains:

“I’m absolutely over the moon to be joining BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists Scheme this autumn, and to have the opportunity to work with their team until December 2021. For me, this has come at an incredibly fortuitous moment as I prepare to hit the studio with my quintet to record my second album for Edition Records to be released in 2020!” Rob Luft.
