Happy New Year from all of us at the SNJO! As we welcome a brand-new year, we’re excited to share an inspiring line-up of events to kick off 2025 in style.
This January, we invite you to join us for a series of performances that celebrate Scotland’s extraordinary musical talent, from emerging young stars to established icons of the jazz and folk worlds. This Side-by-Side offers students from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland the opportunity to explore the nuances of jazz performance.
The week-long programme culminates in a performance showcasing the timeless music of legendary jazz composer Benny Golson. With a focus on ensemble playing and improvisation, this project provides students with the support and mentorship to take their playing to the next level.
