February Highlights - part 2

Hello music lovers!

We’re halfway through February, and if you’re looking for the perfect way to brighten up these chilly nights, we’ve got just the thing - live music! The next couple of weeks are packed with incredible performances, from soulful storytelling to high-energy Balkan beats. Whether you’re in the mood for heartfelt folk, foot-stomping bluegrass, or electrifying world music, there’s something special waiting for you at Green Note. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up…

UPCOMING HIGHLIGHTS…

Kicking off our highlights is the incredibly talented ALISA AMADOR. With a soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Alisa’s music is a blend of folk, jazz, and Latin influences. Alisa made history in 2022 with the first-ever Spanish language song to win the prestigious Tiny Desk Contest. Now, three years later, the bilingual singer-songwriter is formally introducing herself with her stunning full-length debut. She’ll be gracing our stage for two consecutive nights (Tues 18th & Weds 19th Feb). Highly recommended!

For fans of bluegrass and Americana, the NEW VALLEY STRING BAND is set to deliver an evening of foot-tapping tunes when they make their Green Note debut this week (Fri 21st Feb). Their energetic performances and tight harmonies make them a must-see!
Also this coming weekend, international touring troubadour SEAN TAYLOR will be performing a special matinée show (Sat 22nd Feb). Known for his unique blend of blues, Americana, and folk, and described by Mojo Magazine as “Articulate, compelling … brilliant”, Sean’s storytelling through music is not to be missed! And Blues/ Gospel/ Ragtime afficiados GUMBO will be back this Saturday night (22nd Feb) for what promises to be a fun time!

Jazz fans can look forward to the welcome return of critically acclaimed jazz vocalist IRENE SERRA (Fri 28th Feb), and we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves, but fans of New Orleans piano won’t want to miss leading piano man DALE STORR when he returns on 1st March. And folk fans will want to check out the special WOMENFOLK matinée also on this date, featuring three outstanding and rising acts from the UK folk scene - a gorgeous way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Many of our shows are selling out in advance, so we highly recommend grabbing your tickets early to avoid disappointment! Check out our EVENTS PAGE for the full listings.
