Ian was honoured to be asked to contribute "The Guest Spot" in the August / September 2013 edition of Jazz UK magazine.

Ian writes;

I was very honoured to be asked by editor John Lyons to write the regular Guest Spot feature in the August / September issue of Jazz UK magazine. Published bi-monthly by the Jazz Services organisation this free magazine is distributed nationally and can be acquired at jazz venues up and down the country. It can also be read online at http://www.jazzservices.org.uk

My piece tells something of my background with regard to the appreciation of jazz, takes a look at some of my favourite jazz venues in both England and Wales, and includes two brief album reviews featuring recently released recordings by Mike Gibbs and by the Newcastle based group ACV.
