Pianist / vocalist Wendy Kirkland has secured Arts Council funding to help finance a 'Hybrid Tour' including ten different livestream performances featuring her popular 'Latin Lockdowns' series.

We are thrilled to announce…
Latin Lockdowns Live tour begins on 22nd May 2021!

Things seem to be on the up - I’m delighted to announce that Arts Council England have funded our hybrid tour with the Latin Lockdowns Live sextet, featuring Roger Beaujolais.

For the ‘virtual’ part of the tour there will be 10 live streams starting on 22nd May at 7.30.
The streams are all one hour long, with completely different set lists, so you can be guaranteed of a unique and authentic latin experience each time!
Prior to the concert we will be rehearsing allt he fresh material, so you will be viewing the very first performance of its kind. The streams will all take place in our club room, with our much-loved grand piano, and will feature full latin percussion - that’s drum kit PLUS latin percussionist!

From October, the ‘real’ part of the tour begins, with dates in Tamworth, Harwich, Nottingham, Devon, Cornwall and of course Chesterfield Jazz Club in October.
