Brass Jaw-London Jazz Festival appearances and forthcoming new album.

The Scottish all horn quartet will be making a series of appearances at the 2010 London Jazz Festival prior to the release of their new album "Branded" (Keywork Records, December 1st).

Brass Jaw are to release their third album on Scottish label, Keywork Records.

The official release date is December 1st 2010.

However, it is rumoured that a limited number of pre-release CD copies
will be available to attendees of their forthcoming run of dates at
this year’s London Jazz Festival:

St. Pancras International - Thursday 18 November 2010, 6:00pm
Royal Albert Hall/Cafe Consort - Friday 19 November 2010, 12:00pm
Clore Ballroom / Southbank Centre - Friday 19 November 2010, 6:00pm
National Maritime Museum - Saturday 20 November 2010, 2:00pm
Theatre Royal Stratford East- Sunday 21 November 2010, 5:00pm

As well as 15 original tunes, the album also includes a cover version
of Lennon & McCartney’s ?Drive My Car’ and, in celebration of what
would have been Frank Zappa’s 70th birthday, the Zappa classic
?Peaches En Regalia’ is given the Brass Jaw treatment.

The album was recorded at Glasgow’s brand new studio, ?Rocket Science’
and engineered, mixed and mastered by Ross Hamilton and Michael
Bannister.

The band is set to tour in the UK and Europe from April 2011. Details
will be released soon on the Brass Jaw website.
