Musicians Tom Challenger and Dan Nichols have contacted us with news of Green Chimneys, a new musician led quarterly listings magazine for London which will be avaiable in digital and paper formats.

Tom and Dan write;

Dear all,

I’m writing to inform you about a brand new listings publication which has just been released. Green Chimneys is a quarterly dedicated to promoting musical events around London:

Green Chimneys is an online and paper publication dedicated to highlighting the artistic, social and geographical links between events promoted by musician led co-operatives in London.

London currently has a vast array of pro-activity and creative output amongst musicians and young promoters/enthusiasts. Green Chimneys is here to provide a tailored go-to gig guide for London’s grass roots creative music scene. We want to help provide coherency to ‘the scene’ in London that exists beneath the surface: making it easy for musicians to be visible, whilst allowing the audience to easily see whats going on.

The publication not only includes venue-by-venue and date-by-date listings, but also opinion and features columns ? with contributions from Django Bates and Alex Roth in the first edition.

Green Chimneys is a musician led venture, funded by both the venues included and the Loop Collective. It is available in both paper and digital format at http://www.greenchimneys.co.uk.
