Nick Dewhurst sets up new monthly jazz club in Lichfield.

Following the recent success of the Back Room Jazz Festival trumpeter Nick Dewhurst has set up a new monthly jazz club, the Back Room Club, at the George IV, Lichfield.

Here’s what Nick has to say about the new project;

Hello all,

After the success of the Back Room Jazz Festival, I’ve once again teamed up with the George IV in Lichfield to host monthly jazz nights, forming the Back Room Jazz Club.

On Thursday November 25th, returning from their success at the festival, is Alicia Gardener-Trejo and her Quintet, performing their tribute to Benny Golson.  Support comes from the Tim Sentance Quartet.  The evening starts at 8.30pm, and entrance is free!

This should be a fantastic evening of live music, so please come and support, it would be great to see you!
